WANTEDA collaborative team player with an eye for the fine details.  The Program Manager needs to be a self-starter and have a track record of independently managing multiple projects and deadlines in a client-facing, technical environment. The Program Manager will be responsible for the day to day client services operations and project administration. Duties include the responsibility for driving essential operational and strategic activities in keeping with client(s) and Virtual goals and objectives.



  • Management of Virtual staff/ interns to include, if applicable; 
    • Training;
    • Coaching and professional development;
    • Additional administrative duties.
  • Direct the delivery of membership programs and development in accordance with client strategic plans.
  • Contribute to the formulation of client policies, programs and procedures. 
  • Make recommendations for future growth and improvements.
  • Guide association personnel such as volunteers, client members and officers.
  • To plan and direct each stage of the membership development process;
    • Member benefit packages;
    • Orientation and/or certification of new members;
    • Membership renewals;
    • Recruitment of new members.
  • Ensure high level client customer service.
  • Facilitate client conference calls/face-to-face meetings; draft meeting minutes; document action items and follow-up.
  • Manage client budgets in collaboration with client and Virtual finance team.
  • Collaborate with Virtual Marketing and Communications team; oversee development and implementation of communication initiatives.
  • Work with the Virtual Events team to manage client events. Duties may include onsite event management.
  • Maintain program metrics and scorecard reporting.
  • Assist with client website management both public and members only, and collaborate with technology solutions team on all needed tools. 
  • Overall project management and support for all client services and company initiatives.



  • Bachelor's (B.A./B.S.) degree required; 
  • 5 plus years Account/Project/Program Manager experience preferred; Association experience preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills;
  • Experience leading functional teams, supervision and mentoring;
  • High level of creativity and "rolled up sleeves" working style;
  • Detail-oriented, with strong, effective organizational, problem solving and time-management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and set and achieve strategic objectives
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to create, manage and coach high-performance teams, demonstrate excellence in organizational management, work well under pressure, and work independently and as a strong team player with hands-on customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage staff hours to client budgets to ensure profitability targets are met;
  • Computer proficiency, specifically with Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Willingness and ability to travel, if required (up to 5%, both international and domestic).
  • Willingness and availability for calls outside normal business hours, when needed, due to the global aspect of client business.
