Virtual's unique culture and values are the heart and soul behind everything we do. The Human Resources Specialist will work within Virtual's Employee Experience team to shape and safeguard Virtual's culture by supporting key programs in talent acquisition, among other related efforts. The Human Resources Specialist will support staffing needs across Virtual's multi-location team. The Human Resources Specialist will also ensure the extension of Virtual Inc's values of team work, service excellence, innovation, respect, empowerment, and fun in our Nashville location.  



  • Develops strong relationships and communication with managers (both local and remote) to anticipate hiring needs.
  • Brings a passion for owning and delivering a best in class recruitment experience to candidate, hiring managers, colleagues and leadership.
  • Manages all stages of candidate experience (including application, interviews and communication). 
  • Develops and nurtures talent pipelines for current and future talent needs.
  • Manages onboarding process for new hires, including training and documentation.
  • Brings ideas and initiates collaboration on implementing strategies related to recruitment of talent that will contribute to the long-range growth and success of the company.
  • Leads on-campus and off-site recruitment programs including job fairs, trade shows, and media presence, including but not limited to networking opportunities and internship candidates. 
  • Prepares statistical reports and other data to monitor applicant flow, selection, and turnover.
  • Fosters positive attitudes office-wide toward company values and goals.
  • Finds creative ways to measure employee satisfaction and brings in ideas and strategies to increase satisfaction.
  • Acts as a champion and tireless defender of Virtual's unique culture assisting with creation of programs that both safeguard and advance our culture as a differentiator in the marketplace.
  • Works alongside Employee Experience team to lead organizational effectiveness to ensure Virtual's health, effectiveness and efficiency with an eye toward scalability and growth.



  • 3 - 5 years of Human Resources experience; Recruiting experience preferred
  • Associates degree required, bachelor's preferred
  • Computer proficiency, specifically with MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Aptitude for exceptional candidate generation and client management Expert communicator, including in-person as well as via email, phone, and skype
  • Strong service orientation with commitment to providing excellent employee experience.
  • Maintains high level of confidentiality;
  • Works with integrity and ethically, upholding organizational values;           
  • Detail-oriented, with strong, effective organizational, problem solving and time-management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment;
  • Must be a self-starter, with the ability to work independently with limited supervision, as a team member and work well under pressure;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral;
  • Must be comfortable in a collaborative small-company environment and demonstrate a "rolled up sleeves" working style;
  • Strong computer skills, especially MS Office.
  • Knowledge of office administration and HR procedures;
  • Positive attitude, upholding our values of team work, service excellence, innovation, respect, empowerment, and FUN
